A Typical Workshop Process

Introduction: Ice breakers & games to introduce the participants, the workshop, and the trainer

Program overview: Participants are invited (optional) to share their feedback and thoughts about the program




  1. Brainstorming and debates

  2. Practice or related playful games and exercises

  3. Definition of the key steps

  4. Preparation of the educational handout with illustrated advice

  5. Debriefing, questions and answers

  6. Presentation of the following chapter


At the end of the training session, participants are invited to highlight the workshop's key points of learning. Participants are also encouraged to create a personal contract to implement some changes in order to reinforce the impact of the life skills development and career support training workshop.

Experience taught us that a follow-up session is very valuable to strenghten participants' engagements and knowledge.


Sharing with the group is optional. Participants will join the conversation only if they feel confident enough to do so.



  • We use play-based learning through games, role-play, real-life scenarios or practice as often as possible.

  • As a group, we define our own rules to create a safe learning environment and to make sure that everyone will be well respected.

  • Our tools and learning methods are unique, playful and have a great impact.

  • We use various tools and learning supports to maintain participants' engagement and participation.

  • The group finds the theory through exercises and games for a better impact and a great learning experience.

  • Various resources: experiences, practice, use of photos and videos, role-play, games, photo reports, team activities, quizzes…



  • Feedback at the end of the group activities and games

  • Students handouts created by each participant: Illustrated advice sheets

  • Awareness and commitments made by the participants

  • Individual assessment with each participant

  • Feedback & survey at the end of the training workshop

  • Feedback meeting with the organisation

  • Individual coaching if required

  • Ongoing training programs (up to 24 months programs)

  • Each student will receive a Certificate of Completion

  • Long-term evaluation: measure change in behaviour, knowledge & attitudes
