Corporate volunteering does not always require giving time on the ground. By funding soft skills workshops for communities in need with New Reflections, your organisation can make a meaningful impact without a direct time commitment. Your contributions support not-for-profit partners, enabling us to deliver practical, life-changing programs for young people, domestic violence survivors, refugees, and other vulnerable groups that our partners support. Your funding helps provide confidence-building, communication, and life skills training while allowing your team to focus on their core responsibilities.

How can a corporate organisation volunteer with No Time Commitment? By funding soft skills programs for people in need

At New Reflections, we understand your time is limited, yet your commitment to making a meaningful impact is strong. That is why we provide a way for your organisation to support life-changing soft skills programs without needing to be hands-on.

Because we believe soft skills are not a luxury; they are life-changing, we have one mission and one mission only: Soft skills = people skills for all, and for that, we need your support.

There's nothing soft in soft skills...

Across Sydney and Australia, we work with individuals who have survived domestic violence, young people disconnected from education, people living with disabilities, refugees, and others who have been excluded or overlooked. What they all have in common is potential. What many lack is a safe place to rebuild their self-worth, practise vital life and social skills, and believe in themselves again.

That is what we provide: safe, empowering spaces to learn, grow, and reconnect with themselves and others.

Corporate volunteering with no time commitment allows your organisation to fund Soft Skills Community Workshops, increasing your impact without requiring additional time from your team.

How corporate clients help fund workshops for communities in need

When you, as a corporate client, choose New Reflections to train your teams in leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, or customer service, you are investing in more than just your own people.

You are helping to fund our community programs delivered to participants in need.

Here is how corporate volunteering with no time investment works:

When you book a training package with New Reflections, you can decide to donate up to 15% of your quote (Terms and Conditions apply) to support our community outreach workshops. This funding goes directly to delivering sessions for people who otherwise could not access this support. By contributing directly to the not-for-profit organisations we partner with, such as The Lilian Project, a receipt will be issued for your donation, which can be claimed for tax purposes.

And we go one step further

For every workshop you help fund, Maud Vanhoutte, our founder, doubles the impact by delivering an additional workshop at no cost.

In short: If your 15% contribution covers one session, two will be delivered.

More than a donation. This is shared value in action when your team's training unlock one or multiple workshops for communities in need

Impact of Soft skills + Life skills = Long-Term transformation

We deliver hands-on, trauma-aware workshops that integrate:

  • Confidence-building and emotional resilience

  • Self-esteem and personal identity

  • Assertiveness and communication strategies

  • Self-regulation and behaviour awareness

  • Independent living and daily life routines

  • Job readiness and employability skills

By combining social, emotional, and practical skill-building, we help participants navigate daily life with confidence and autonomy. From connecting to and communicating their needs to building self-confidence, understanding workplace expectations, and preparing for employment, our programs provide safe, supportive spaces where participants can rebuild self-worth, practise vital life skills, and regain belief in themselves.

The impact we see every day

One participant, who recently moved into transitional housing after leaving an abusive relationship, told us: “I had forgotten what it felt like to say what I needed and not be scared. Your workshop reminded me I still have a voice.”

A young man with autism, disengaged from school and unable to find a job, shared after a session: “No one’s ever shown me how to read what people mean, not just words. That changed a lot for me.”

Every week, we see confidence that helps raise shoulders, words spoken with less fear, and the spark of self-belief lighting up again.

Spotlight on our community partner: The Lillian Howell Project

ree

The Lillian Howell Project, founded in 1988, is a specialist homelessness service providing medium to long-term, 24-hour supported housing for young women and girls aged 13 to 17. Their trauma-informed, gender-specific approach creates a safe and secure environment, helping residents rebuild trust and stability while completing education, gaining employment, and progressing toward independent living.

At New Reflections, we partner with Lillian’s to deliver workshops focused on self-confidence, self-worth, and emotional regulation for their residents. Our hands-on, supportive sessions help the girls develop vital life skills, strengthen resilience, and build the foundation for a brighter, independent future.

Bonus, our amazing Labrador brings love, calm and support by joining every single session.
