At New Reflections, we believe soft skills are not a luxury—they are life-changing. For that reason we have one mission and one mission only: Soft skills for all.
Across Sydney and Australia, we work with individuals who have survived domestic violence, young people disconnected from education, people living with disabilities, refugees, and others who have been excluded or overlooked. What they all have in common is potential. What many lack is a safe place to rebuild their self-worth, practise vital life and social skills, and believe in themselves again.
That is what we provide: safe, empowering spaces to learn, grow, and reconnect — with others and with themselves.
Impact of Soft skills + life skills = long-term transformation
We deliver hands-on, trauma-aware workshops that integrate:
Confidence-building and emotional resilience
Self-esteem and personal identity
Assertiveness and communication strategies
Self-regulation and behaviour awareness
Independent living and daily life routines
Job readiness and employability skills
By combining social, emotional, and practical skill-building, we help participants navigate daily life with greater autonomy. From learning how to speak up for themselves to understanding personal hygiene routines, from managing conflict to preparing for work — our programs offer dignity, structure, and hope.
The impact we see every day
One participant, recently moved into transitional housing after leaving an abusive relationship, told us: “I’d forgotten what it felt like to say what I needed and not be scared. Your workshop reminded me I still have a voice.”
A young man with autism, disengaged from school and unable to find a job, shared after a session: “No one’s ever shown me how to read what people mean—not just words. That changed a lot for me.”
Every week, we see confidence return to shoulders, words spoken with less fear, and the spark of self-belief light up again.
How corporate clients help make this happen
When you, as a corporate client, choose New Reflections to train your teams in leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, or customer service, you are investing in more than just your own people.
You are helping to fund the very same programs we deliver to the community.

Here is how it works:
When you book a training package with us, you have the option to allocate 20% of your quote to support our community outreach workshops. This funding goes directly to delivering sessions for people who otherwise could not access this kind of support.
And we go one step further.
For every workshop you help fund, Maud doubles the impact — by delivering an additional workshop at no cost.
If your 20% contribution covers one session, two will be delivered.
If your team receives transformational training, a second group—one with different challenges—gets it too.
This is not a donation. This is shared value. This is training that multiplies impact.
Are you a not-for-profit seeking soft skills workshops for your clients?
We partner with shelters, youth programs, disability providers, and community organisations to deliver practical, powerful training that supports your mission.
If you would like to be considered as one of our beneficiary organisations, reach out. We accept new partners twice a year and prioritise programs that support:
Domestic and family violence survivors
Young people at risk or out of school
NDIS participants with psychosocial or cognitive disabilities
Refugees, asylum seekers, and CALD groups
Community reintegration after incarceration or homelessness
Let us bring confidence, communication, and connection to your clients—at no cost to your program budget.
